黑莓公司是加拿大的一家通信公司，主要产品为手提通讯设备黑莓手机。黑莓手机(BlackBerry)是加拿大BlackBerry公司的一家手提无线通信设备品牌，于1999年创立。其特色是支援推动式电子邮件、行动电话、文字短信、互联网传真、网页浏览及其他无线资讯服务。较新的型号亦加入个人数码助理功能如电话簿、行事历等及话音通讯功能。大部分BlackBerry设备附设小型但完整的QWERTY键盘，方便用户输入文字。

黑莓公司也是滑铁卢市东北部RIM Park的主要赞助商。公司由Mike Lazaridis与Jim Balsillie共同创立。黑莓公司使用C++和Java技术为其产品研发自己的软件。黑莓公司也销售嵌入式无线通讯零部件。

2014年11月14日早间消息，黑莓周四宣布，已经与三星和其他知名科技公司签订协议，进一步拓展其移动设备管理及安全平台

It currently enjoys a 20% market share of mobile phone sales, but that is under pressure from Apple’s iPhone and similar phones. The BlackBerry is developed by the Canadian IT company RIM (Research In Motion). It started out life in 1999 as a pager but quickly developed into a more communicative tool that exploited Internet capabilities. It soon grew to be the number one choice for business people in the USA. Barack Obama famously was rarely unattached to his device during the 2008 presidential campaign. Today, more than 40 million Blackberries a year are shipped worldwide. Theaddictive nature of the device means it has picked up the nickname “CrackBerry”, a term borrowed from “crack” cocaine.
