　　(二)英语句子汉译时，根据汉语表达习惯可以作些省略。

　　1)Now we have solved the problem and have arrived at the same conclusion as they arrived at.

　　现在我们已经解决了这个问题，并且得出了和他们相同的结论。

　　原文里第二个arrived at在译文里省略不译出。

　　2)He realized the "subtlety" of China's messages, the gap between her hot rhetoric and her cool action.

　　他领会了中国信息的“微妙之处”：言辞激烈，但行动沉着。

　　原文里的the gap在译文里省略不译出。
