When we go shopping, it is often easy to decide whatwe'd like to buy and what we want to disregard orleave for another time. Other times there is addedpressure from a salesperson who tries toconvince us to purchase something. If we realizethat the salesperson is actually lying or deceivingus in order to make a sale, then we may say, "I'mnever going to buy that."

Itmeans that we think the story we are hearing is not true. It may be purposely false in order todeceive us or unintentionally untrue because the speaker has mistaken the facts. In any case,it's always best to double check the facts and don't "buy" everything you hear.
