课文内容：

I have just moved to a house in Bridge Street.Yesterday a beggar knocked at my door. Heasked me for a meal and a glass of beer. Inreturn for this, the beggar stood on his head andsang songs. I gave him a meal. He ate the food anddrank the beer. Then he put a piece of cheese in hispocket and went away. Later a neighbour told meabout him. Everybody knows him. His name is PercyButtons. He calls at every house in the street once a month and always asks for a meal and aglass of beer.

本文语法：定冠词、不定冠词、some的用法及其在there be句型中的应用

语法归纳：不定冠词：a/an泛指一个，后加单数可数名词，具有不确定性。

定冠词：the特指一个，后加单、复数名词均可，一般具有确定性。

some：一些，后加可数名词、不可数名词均可，具有不确定性。

there be句型 一般不用the，而用a,an,some.

精讲笔记：

1.I have just moved to a house in Bridge Street.

我刚搬家到大桥街。

语言点1 1)move one's house搬家

2)move to+地点，搬家去……地方

3)One false move may lose the game.(谚语)一步走错，全盘皆输。

语言点2 比较学习：in the street在街上(英);on the street在街上(美)

2.Yesterday a beggar knocked at my door.

昨天，一个乞丐敲我的门。

语言点 对比学习：1)knock at the door敲门

2)knock the door撞门

3)a knock at the door一个敲门声

4)a knock on the head头上挨的一击

3.He asked me for a meal and a glass of beer.

他向我要一顿饭和一杯啤酒。

语言点1 meal前可加a,而breakfast, lunch, supper等前一般不直接加不定冠词。

语言点2 ask sb. for sth.向某人索取某物

语言点3 同义词比较：ask,inquire

1)ask是常用词，可以表示一般的询问

2)inquire打听

3)ask没有inquire正式。
