[00:49.87]“Just the two of us,”he thought about it for a moment, [00:53.50]then said,“I would like that very much.” [00:56.55]That Friday after work, as I drove over to pick her up I was a bit nervous. [01:30.38]“It was I who used to have to read the menu when you were small,”she said. [01:35.60]“Then it’s time that you relax and let me return the favor,” I responded. [01:40.42]During the dinner we had an agreeable conversation—nothing extraordinary— [01:46.33]but catching up on recent events of each other’s life. [01:50.05]We talked so much that we missed the movie. [01:52.89]As we arrived at her house later, she said, [01:56.49]“I’ll go out with you again, but only if you let me invite you.”I agreed. [02:01.86]A few days later my mother died of a massive heart attack. [02:06.46]It happened so suddenly that I didn’t have a chance to do anything for her. [02:10.84]At that moment I understood the importance of saying in time “I LOVE YOU” [02:16.52]and to give our loved ones the time that they deserve. [02:19.70]Nothing in life is more important than your family. [02:22.98]Give them the time they deserve, [02:25.24]because these things cannot be put off till “some other time”.
