九省市试点“导游自由执业”

The National Tourism Administration will pilot a freelance tour guide program in Shanghai and eight other provinces beginning from May, in an attempt to reduce the number of shopping trips, which tourists frequently complain about.

国家旅游局将自今年5月起，在上海和其他八个省市开展导游自由执业试点工作，以减少游客经常抱怨的购物游。

这里的freelance tour guide就是指的导游自由执业，freelance指的是自由职业者，比如freelance journalist就是指的自由撰稿人，freelance writing jobs就是指自由撰稿的工作。类似的还有freelance photographer(自由摄影师)、freelance writer(自由作家)等等。

Pilot在这里做动词，指试点、试验，pilot program就是指试点计划。Pilot做名词一般指飞行员或引航员。

此次开展的9个省市试点工作将分为线上、线下两种类型(via online platforms and/or offline agencies)，消费者将来可通过第三方支付平台(a third-party payment platform)来支付导游服务费。
