The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to PEOPLE that authorities' investigation into the Friends actor's passing has concluded. The L.A. County Medical Examiner's online database also lists the case as closed.

The report noted that Perry had been receiving ketamine infusion treatment but said the ketamine in his system could not have been from one of those sessions due to its short half-life.
