The new couple were seen walking hand in hand while taking a stroll in Joshua Tree, California on Wednesday. Both dressed in comfortable clothing, with Nyong'o, 40, fashioned in yellow sweatpants and a white and green striped long sleeve shirt that read, "It's Okay to Cry."

Their latest public outing comes hours after they were spotted leaving Erewhon Market in Los Angeles on Tuesday. The pair was also seen outside a convenience store and driving together in a Tesla.

As for Nyong’o, the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever actress had been romantically linked to Selema Masekea. The Instagram post, which was captured by PEOPLE, appears to have been deleted.

Nyong'o announced their breakup on Instagram the same day as the photos of her at the Janelle Monáe concert were released.

In the lengthy post, she noted in part that she felt it "necessary for me to share a personal truth and publicly dissociate myself from someone I can no longer trust. I find myself in a season of heartbreak because of a love suddenly and devastatingly extinguished by deception."
