The former Olympic skier, 38, who has had multiple knee surgeries since her retirement in 2019, revealed her medical information Sunday in an Instagram Q&A when one person asked “What was your most recent procedure that you had? Have been told only option is TKA.”

这位38岁的前奥运会滑雪运动员自2019年退役以来进行了多次膝盖手术，周日在Instagram问答中透露了她的医疗信息，当时有人问“你最近做了什么手术?”我被告知唯一的选择是TKA。”

“I recently did a prep surgery for a knee replacement,” Vonn replied while sharing a photo of her knee wrapped in a surgical dressing on her Instagram Story. “Hope to have the next surgery this spring.”

“我最近做了一个膝关节置换术的准备手术，”沃恩回答道，同时在她的Instagram故事上分享了一张膝盖裹着手术敷料的照片。“希望今年春天再做一次手术。”

Vonn also posted a video of her doing a knee exercise after a fan asked for advice on what to do after surgery on the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL).  The athlete then advised people to work on their range of motion by doing full flexion and extension every day.

In 2019, Vonn underwent an operation to repair her torn lateral collateral ligament, LCL but has since continued to have knee problems.

“I’ve been dealing with all the damage from my ski racing career and have been trying to manage the pain as best I can,” Vonn wrote on Instagram in July after revealing she was undergoing another surgery.

“This surgery is hopefully a big step to help me long term. We still have work to do, and most likely another surgery but I hope this will help me for a bit,” she added.

Vonn’s knee updates come after she recently revealed she was stung by a “massive jellyfish.”

Sharing snaps of her wound on her Instagram story in September, Vonn asked for tips on how to treat the sting and posted a photo of the back of her leg that contained a red swollen area on her thigh.

“Trying the hot water soak ... ” she wrote alongside a photo of her trying out one suggested method in a bath of clear water.
