A: The one-China principle is a universal consensus of the international community. Any attempt to create “two Chinas” or “one China, one Taiwan” will be opposed by all Chinese people.
关于台湾地区领导人在美国所谓“过境”问题，中方已多次表明立场，并已向美方提出严正交涉。我们一贯坚决反对美方或其他与中国建交的国家安排这种“过境”。这个立场是明确的，也是坚定的。
As to the so-called “stopover” issue of the Taiwan leader in the US, China has stated its position repeatedly and lodged stern representations with the US side.
