　　否定一直是许多同学做细节题的一个绊脚石。究其原因，首先，虽然NOT这个词听起来浅显易懂，但很多同学容易忽视这个考点，听到这个词的时候，笔记上没有呈现，而自己的瞬时记忆中又搜寻不到这个信息点，等作为选项之一出现的时候，对错自然就很难判断了。原因之二，是有些否定涉及到弱读，比如：won’t, hasn’t, wouldn’t, isn’t这些词出现的时候，t 经常弱读到几乎听不出来，这个时候考生想记笔记都无从下笔。对于这种几乎每篇听力都会出现一次的否定，应如何应对呢?

　　“Student: Does the thawing process have some kind of trigger as well? Professor: well, we are not sure actually, the clearer thing is even though the sun is warning the frog up on the outside, the inside thaw out first, the heart and brain and everything”

　　听力题目：

　　What are the two points the professor makes about the thawing process of the wood frog?

　　A. The thawing process is not fully understood.

　　B. The thawing process takes longer than the freezing process.

　　C. The frog’s internal organs thaw before its outer skin thaws.

　　D. Thawing occurs when the frog’s heart begins pumping glucose through its body.

　　这个题目从考点上看，最基本的考点是问答，尤其是老师解释型的答案要记好，而在老师的回答中，第一个信息点就是否定“not sure”, 第二个信息点就是序数词“inside thaw out first”, 只要回答里的这两个信息点记下来了，那么这个题就拿下了。

　　所以大家以后一定要提高对于否定这个考点敏感度，当听到像“not”这样清晰的否定的时候，记得时刻记下来，可以用×来表示;当听到像won’t, hasn’t, wouldn’t, isn’t这些否定时，如果没有听到弱读的“t”，那么可以根据此句前后句去判断，比如：TPO18 L3 Spice香料这一篇，其中有提到”Now for taste, spices aren’t native to Europe and they had to be imported”, 当听到”aren’t native”的时候，有些听力不够好的同学听到的是”are native”, 但听到语速较慢的后面“had to be imported”又会觉得逻辑不通，这个时候建议同学们可以果断确定前面的否定你们没有听到，毕竟后面的内容语速慢，是可以确定的。
