一、连接状语从句的从属连词

1.连接时间状语从句的从属连词

（1）常用时间从属连词

when 当……时候　　　　　while 当……时候/同时

as 当……时候　　　　　　whenever 每当……时候

before 在……之前　　　　after 在……之后

since 自从……以来　　　 ever since 从……起

until/till 直到……才

（2）名词短语作从属连词

（1）由time构成的名词词组

the first time 第一次　　　the last time 最后一次　　　each time 每次

every time 每次　　　　　　next time 下次　　　　　　　any time 随时

（2）由一段时间构成的名词词组

the hour 那时　　　　　the day 那天　　　　　the week 那一周　　　　the year 那年

the spring 那年春天　　the summer 那年夏天　 the autumn 那年秋天　　the winter 那年冬天

（3）表示“一……就……”的从属连词

as soon as

immediately，directly，instantly

the moment，the minute，the instant，the second

no sooner ...than ...，hardly/scarcely ...when ...

（4）not ...until 直到……才……

They didn’t stop talking until the bell rang.直到铃响他们才住口。

Don’t get off until the bus stops.车停稳了再下车。

2.连接地点状语从句的从属连词

where 在……地方 wherever 无论……在哪儿 everywhere 每一……地方 anywhere 任何地方

3.连接条件状语从句的从属连词

if 如果 unless 除非 as/so long as 只要 on condition that 只要 in case 以防万一

4.连接目的状语从句的从属连词

so that 以便 in order that 为了 for fear that 以免 in case 以防万一

5.连接结果状语从句的从属连词

so that结果 so ...that ...如此……以致于……

such ...that ...如此……以致于……

6.连接原因状语从句的从属连词

because 因为 since 既然、鉴于 as 由于 now that 既然

7.连接让步状语从句的从属连词

though/although 尽管　　　even though/even if 即使

while 然而　　　　　　　　as 尽管　　　　　　　　whether ...or （not）不管……还是

whatever 不管什么　　　　 whoever 无论是谁　　　 whomever 无论是谁
