五、名词化形容词

1.表示某一类人，复数意义

the blind 盲人　　　　the brave 勇敢的人　　　　the deaf 聋子　　　　　　the dead 死者

the dumb 哑巴　　　　 the healthy 健康人　　　　the homeless 无家可归者　the jobless 失业者

the old 老人　　　　　the poor 穷人　　　　　　 the rich 富人　　　　　　the sick 病人

4.表示抽象概念，单数意义
