My name is Ülker (but call me just Lyra) and I'm an illustrator based in Istanbul, Turkey. I work as a full-time child and adolescent psychiatrist. After work, I shapeshift into an artist!

我的名字是Ulker(但叫我Lyra就好了)，我是土耳其伊斯坦布尔的插画师。我是一名全职儿童和青少年精神病学家。下班后，我变成了一个艺术家!

There are three things I do to relax: drawing, cooking, and eating. So on the verge of an art block, I decided to challenge myself with character design. Combining two things I love the most seemed like a project I'd have the most fun with. And I did!

我通常做三件事来放松自己:画画、做饭和吃饭。所以在艺术的边缘，我决定挑战我自己的角色设计。把我最喜欢的两样东西结合起来，似乎是我最感兴趣的项目。我做到了!

I had to do a little research about the specific food or snack's origin, production process, and discovered so much more when people started commenting and telling me about their homeland's most popular food! Overall, it was a very fun and sometimes mouth-watering experience (when searching for reference photos on Pinterest).

我做了一些关于特定食物或零食的起源、生产过程的研究，当人们开始评论和告诉我他们祖国最受欢迎的食物时，我发现了更多!总的来说，这是一个非常有趣，有时令人垂涎的经历(当在Pinterest上搜索参考照片时)。

As a mental healthcare professional, I can't stress enough how important art is to our souls and minds. It doesn't have to be perfect - creating even the smallest thing can make our day more meaningful.

作为一名心理健康专家，我再怎么强调艺术对我们的灵魂和思想的重要性也不为过。它不必是完美的-创造即使是最小的事情可以使我们的一天更有意义。

I plan to add more characters to the collection, so if you're on a diet - beware!
