1、be free from没有……的，不受……影响
be free from 可以看成 原本就没有束缚
而 be freed from 是原本有这个束缚,由于种种原因,挣脱了这个束缚
eg: be free of charge 免费 be free from the homework 从作业中解脱,摆脱、
2、be identified as…被认为是… 被识别为…，被确认为…
eg: Non - conforming products should be identified as per Status Identification Control Procedure.
应按《状态标识控制程序》标识不合格品.
3、be known as被称做……，以……著称
be known as 意为“作为……而著名”，其后的名词表示一个人的身份、职业等。如：
Liu Huan is known as a singer.刘欢作为一个歌手而出名。
4、 be known to为……所熟知
be known to “为……所了解/知道”，其后接表示人的词语。“(人们都)知道”，其后接动词原形。如：
He is known to all in our village.村子里的人都了解他。
5、be popular with…受……欢迎 注意区分与be popular to 的差别
例如：Loud music is more popular with young people than with old.
be popular to意思和be popular with差不多，但是用法上有点区别 例如：If you want to impress your peers (friends) it is generally more popular to show them , (to do this, to say, usage with the verb to be) your cool rDVD collection
