实用英语对话:流行病

心涛：洋洋，又去社区幼儿园当志愿者了?

洋洋：是啊，好累!最近孩子们得病的人数创历史记录了。前年小孩儿们流行得麻疹，去年是腮腺炎。到了今年，变成水痘。

心涛：那得把被传染的孩子送回家隔离治疗吧。

洋洋：对，我打电话通知他们的父母了。今天还有两个孩子看起来好像得了红眼病。有个三岁的孩子可能得了百日咳，不过我不太确定。还有一个很小的孩子得了哮喘。我真希望有一种方法能帮孩子们预防各种疾病。

心涛：天呐，你确定你是在幼儿园做志愿者吗?

洋洋：怎么这么说?

心涛：听起来你更像是在疾病控制中心工作。我建议你明天戴防毒面具去上班。

洋洋：其实这些病我小时候都得过，所以我现在有免疫力，已经是百毒不侵了!

Xintao: Yangyang, are you volunteering kindergarten of the community?

Yangyang: Yes. I'm worn out. Recently the number of valid kids has broken the historical record. Two years ago, it was measles. Last year, it was mumps. This year, it's chicken pox.

Xintao: Then send the kids infected home to be isolated and treated.

Yangyang: Yes. I’ve called their parents. Today there are two kids who seemed to be having pinkeye. A three-year-old boy is probably suffering from pertussis, but I’m not sure. And a very young kid is suffering from asthma. I’m hoping there is a way to help them prevent any disease.

Xintao: Oh, my God. Are you sure you're volunteering in the kindergarten?

Yangyang: Why?

Xintao: It seems that you work in the Disease Control Center. I suggest you wear a gas mask at work.

Yangyang: In fact, I've had these diseases in my childhood, so I have immunity to all the virus.
