Tom: Hey, would you like to have a drink after work?

嘿，下班后要去喝一杯吗?

Bob: Sorry, I have to leave at once.

对不起，我得马上就离开。

Tom: You have been hurried for a long time. What’s happening?

你这段时间都很匆忙。发生什么了?

Bob: I’m taking night classes at college.

我在大学上夜校。

Tom: Wow, great. Why didn’t you say anything before?

哇，很好啊，为什么你之前都什么都没说?

Bob: I don’t want you to know I didn’t graduate from an undergraduate course.

我不想你知道我不是本科毕业。

Tom: That’s nothing. Many people in our company graduated from vocational school.

这没什么啊，在咱们公司很多人都是专科毕业的。

Bob: I didn’t know before. I want to improve my English. I am studying English in night classes.

我之前不知道。我想要提高我的英语，我在夜校学习英语。

Tom: English is really important because our company is a foreign trade corporation.

英语的确很重要，因为我们公司是外贸公司。

Bob: That’s the reason. I have to go, and the class is going to start.

就是这原因，我的走了，课要开始了。
