女儿: Mum, I have something want to talk to you.

妈，跟您商量个事?

妈妈: What?

什么事?

女儿: I want to buy a notebook PC.

我想买台笔记本电脑。

妈妈: Why?

为什么?

女儿: You have allowed me buying one if I got the first prize.Look,this is the result.

您上次答应我的，说我考试第一就给我买的，看，成绩都出来了。

妈妈: (Looking at the mark) Good, all are full mark. So what is the brand of notebook PC you want to buy?

(看了看成绩单)不错嘛，科科满分。那你想买什么牌的?

女儿: Tsinghua Tongfang,it is miniature and easy to use. Most of my friends bought it.

清华同方，既小巧又好用。我好多朋友都是买这个。

妈妈: They all use Tsinghua Tongfang , don't you want something special?

人家都用这个，你就不想换换别的?

女儿: No, I just like it.

不换，我就喜欢这个。

妈妈: Ok, just it.

好吧，就它。

女儿: Thanks Mum. It is kind of you.
