B: I am hungry. Let's grab something to eat!
C: let's go to the buffet-restaurant. It pays to go to the buffet when you are hungry.
B: I couldn't agree with you more.
(They come to a buffet restaurant)
B: Good evening. Is it too late for buffet?
W: No. It remains open till 9:00 p.m..
C: All the food smells tasty today and makes my mouth water.
B: Let's go this way for our trays.
C: I'II go to the automatic4 drink machine for the soft drinks.
B: OK, I'II fetch some hot food.
C: What a variety! The choice is ours. I really like to eat in a cafeteria.
B: Yeah. It's quick and you can eat as much as possible.
C: I want to get some dessert. What do you want?
B: I'd like that strawberry pie with cream.

1.pay to do sth. 表示“值得做某事”。
2.is 的尾音/z/与元音/ɪ/连读，it 和too 之间两个/t/相连省略一个/t/的发音。is it too 连读为/ɪzɪtu: /。
3.fetch 中"-ich" 发音为/tʃ/。
4.I am up to my ears 的意思是“我吃得很饱”。

-tch在单词中的发音是有规律可循的，当t后面接ch，组成-tch时，t不发音，-tch发音为/tʃ/。如：
