From the picture，we can see a girl working hard in her room，with a sign on her door，which reads “Don't disturb me”．The TV set has been locked．Her parents，arriving at home，are walking with their bare feet，shoes in hand for fear of making any noise．Even the cat seems to understand them，walking carefully．

The girl must be preparing for very important exams such as the National College Entrance Examination．Her performance will certainly have a great impact on her future life．If well done，a bright prospect is awaiting her．If not，the whole family will lose face．It is understandable why the family is taking the exam so seriously．However，as far as I am concerned，they are overreacting．Despite their good intention to provide a quiet environment，they are unknowingly laying more pressure on their child by acting as if the exam at hand is the only thing in the world．They neglect the fact that communication and recreation，especially during the last few days of preparation are necessary to relieve the stress of the child．

Unfortunately，the girl in the picture is not alone．There are millions of students in the country，facing such a serious challenge bearing tremendous pressure from not only their schools and teachers but also their parents．If they can balance their work and rest properly，plus the encouragement from parents and teachers，I believe they will have a better attitude towards the exam and thus performing well in the pursuit of their ideals．
