The ecological environment where we live has long been thought of as an everlasting mine which has provided human beings with various kinds of resources for thousands of years．And how we make use of it remains a serious problem．

Human beings have benefited from nature and its resources from generation to generation by using it very properly，which has led to not only the rapid development of a mature human society but also the improvement of the environment itself．To our disappointment，however，many people are making use of our environment improperly．As a result，environmental problems arise，such as the damage of ecological environment，more deserts and the loss of water and soil．More importantly，it is we humans that are the biggest victims．More and more natural disasters are coming to us as the punishment from nature．

It is high time that we realized that we should remain a good relationship between humans and nature．Only in proper ways can we make everlasting use of our environment．First and foremost，laws and regulations should be enforced to make it obligations for everyone to protect the environment．Secondly，further improvements should be made in the field of science and technology to better use the resources and protect the environment．In addition，the application of new energy sources and low-carbon lifestyle should be promoted in no time．More significantly，every social member should raise their consciousness of using our environment properly，developing our society into an eco-friendly one．

In general，we and our ecological environment do rely on each other and only through joint efforts are we able to live an eco-friendlier life．
