但丁·罗塞蒂（Dante Gabriel Rossetti，1828-1882），英国十九世纪的画家兼诗人。他的诗中有浓郁的绘画色彩，画中又有诗歌的朦胧意境，二者均表现出唯美主义特征，是英国唯美主义诗歌和艺术的代表。1848年，他和同学组成“先拉斐尔兄弟会”，崇尚文艺复兴以前或文艺复兴早期的文艺精神，讲究简洁而突出纯色调效果的艺术。他的诗歌强调声音、光线、色彩的效果，取材自然，感情真挚，有一种梦幻的意境。诗作中也常有神秘主义和浓厚的宗教色彩，有象征意味。《登上天堂的女郎》是他最著名的诗作之一。

上了天堂的女郎倚着

The blessed damozel leaned out

黄金的栏杆探身；

From the gold bar of heaven;

她两只眼睛比黄昏的时候

Her eyes were deeper than the depth

宁静的溪水更深沉；

Of waters stilled at even;

她手里拈着三枝百合花，

She had three lilies in her hand,

柔发里有七颗星辰。

And the stars in her hair were seven.

Her robe, ungirt from clasp to hem,

No wrought flowers did adorn,

But a white rose of Mary's gift,

She scarce could see the sun.

It lies in heaven, across the flood

Beneath the tides of day and night

With flame and darkness ridge

The void, as low as where this earth

Spins like a fretful midge .
