双语诗歌翻译|李商隐-《蝉》

《蝉》是唐代诗人李商隐创作的一首五言律诗。全诗层层深入，阐发主题。先是描写蝉的境遇，后面直接跳到自身的遭遇上来，直抒胸臆，感情强烈，最后却又自然而然地回到蝉身上，首尾圆融，意脉连贯。

本以高难饱，徒劳恨费声。
五更疏欲断，一树碧无情。
薄宦梗犹泛，故园芜已平。
烦君最相警，我亦举家清。

Existing on your high place, your belly can hardly be full,
All in vain is your resentful shrill.
At dawn the intermittent cry is about to cease,
But the tree remains indifferently green.
A peach-wood idol adrift,to the court a petty servant,
My garden by weeds is overrun.
Much I'm obliged to you for your admonition,
I too, with my family, live in dire want.
