GRIEF IN SPRING
春愁
Light fleecy clouds floating in the east breeze
Bring drizzling rain down now and then.
To waterside pavilion swallows come again,
And pecking a clod of fragrant clay,
They fly with falling petals on the way.
The pathway strewn with crabapple blooms like brocade
Still shows slender spring fade.
At dusk in the courtyard crows caw amid willow trees.
I remember my love, it seems,
Picking pear blossoms with moonbeams.
