| I would that we were, my beloved, white birds on the foam of the sea! | 我愿我们是一双白鸟，飞在浪尖， | |
| We tire of the flame of the meteor, before it can fade and flee; | 在流星未消隐时，便厌了它的光焰； | |
| And the flame of the blue star of twilight, hung low on the rim of the sky, | 黄昏的蓝星在天际低低闪光， | |
| Has awaked in our hearts, my beloved, a sadness that may not die. | 唤起了我们心里那亘古的忧伤。 | |
| A weariness comes from those dreamers, dew-dabbled, the lily and rose; | 一丝倦意飘来，来自那露湿的百合与玫瑰， | |
| Ah, dream not of them, my beloved, the flame of the meteor that goes, | 爱人，别去梦那流星的光辉； | |
| Or the flame of the blue star that lingers hung low in the fall of the dew： | 别去梦那流连在露水里的蓝星， | |
| For I would we were changed to white birds on the wandering foam：I and you! | 愿我们化作白鸟，在浪尖飞行。 | |
| I am haunted by numberless islands, and many a Danaan shore, | 我心里着魔着数不清的仙岛， | |
