海底惊现埃及艳后故居

        It is known that Alexandria's Eastern Harbor was abandoned after another earthquake, in the eighth century, and was left untouched as an open bay. While modern port construction went ahead in the Western Harbor,that has left the ancient sites undisturbed below.

　　据悉，亚历山大东港在第八世纪因一场地震被遗弃，从那时开始它就从未被开发过，成为一个开放的海湾。许多现代建筑物多建在西港。这就使东港水下的一些遗址免遭破坏。

　　"The findings from along the Egyptian coast will go on display at Philadelphia's Franklin Institute from June 5 to Jan. 2 in an exhibition titled 'Cleopatra: The Search for the Last Queen of Egypt. ", said Goddio, The exhibition will tour several other North American cities.
