Boob 当名词，作“酥胸”解，通常用复数，是俚语，又是贬抑字眼，亦作“呆头呆脑的人”解。boob 当动词通常后随副词 up 作“笨拙地修补，糟蹋”解，如 boob things up(把事情弄糟了)。 boob 是不登大雅之堂的俚语，正式社交场所奉劝避免使用，雅士淑女尤然。

A. “I wanted the pink Power Ranger not the yellow ranger，” a girl whines.“I want the ranger with boobs.”

1. 小女儿吵着要有大奶的娃娃，妈妈除安慰她外，并矫正她的用词。
2. is(not) out until next week out此处为“推出”，“上市”之意。 until next week“要等到下周才……”或“直到下周为止”，是时间副词短语。
3. got you 给你买了…… 为 got (something) for you 的口语简化。

3. figure out the location of the proverbial restroom “摸清厕所在哪里”。proverbial是“众人皆知的”之意，并非“谚语”(proverb)。以新人应摸清“厕所在哪里”，来引喻“熟悉新环境”。
