2. Scene of the accident

Mike and Hunter got into a car accident and it was a bad one. Both cars were totally demolished1 but, amazingly, neither of them was hurt. After they crawled2 out of their cars, Mike seized Hunter's collar and said, "Just look at our cars. There's nothing left, but we are unhurt. This must be a sign from God. God must have meant that we should meet and be friends and live together in peace from now on."

Hunter replied, "I agree with you completely. This must be a sign from God. " Mike continued, "And look at this. Here's another miracle. My car is completely demolished but this bottle of Morgan David wine didn't break. Surely God wants us to drink this wine and celebrate our good fortune."

Then he handed the bottle to Hunter. Hunter agreed, took a few big swigs3, and handed the bottle back to Mike. Mike took the bottle, immediately put the cap on, and handed it back to Hunter.

Hunter asked, "Aren't you having any?"

Mike replied, "No...I think I'll wait for the police."

迈克与亨特的车相撞了，而且撞得很厉害，两辆车都毁掉了，但是万幸的是，他们俩都没受伤。在爬出各自的车后，迈克抓住亨特的衣领说：“看看我们的车子吧，没有一点完整的了，但是我们却毫发无损！这一定是上帝的旨意。上帝一定是要我们会面成为朋友并在今后和睦相处。”

亨特答道：“我完全同意你的意见。这一定是上帝的旨意。”迈克继续说道：“再看看这个，这又是一个奇迹。我的车完全损毁了，但这瓶摩根大卫葡萄酒却完好无损。这一定是上帝要我们喝完这瓶酒来庆祝我们的好运！”

接着他把酒瓶递给亨特，亨特表示赞同以后喝了几大口，然后把瓶子递还给迈克。迈克接过酒瓶，立刻盖上瓶盖，并递回给亨特。

亨特问：“你不喝吗？”

迈克回答：“不了……我想我还是等警察来吧！”
