See His Wife Again

One day a man decided that he was sick and tired of going home every payday and giving his check to his wife. So the next payday he cashed his check and went out partying all weekend. When he finally decided to come home，there was his wife waiting for him on the front porch. As soon as she saw him she started in，“... Where have you been？Why haven’t you called？Where is your paycheck？”She stopped，noticing that he appeared not to be listening at all. She then grabbed his face and stated very harshly，“How would you like it if you didn’t see me for a couple days？”The man thought a little and said with a half smirk，“I think I would like that a lot！”A day went by and he didn’t see her... Two days went by and he still hadn’t seen her... Three days went by and the swelling had gone down just enough that he could see her through the corner of his left eye.

一天，某男子对于每次发工资都要回家把支票交给老婆的生活终于感到厌倦了。于是等到下次发工资的时候，他把支票都兑换成了现金，整个周末都出去和别人聚会。当他最终决定回家的时候，他的妻子在门廊前等着他。一见到他，妻子道：“……你到哪儿去了？怎么也不打个电话？你的工资支票呢？”她突然打住，注意到丈夫根本不在听。她抓着他的脸，厉声喝道：“如果你几天见不到我会有什么感觉？”丈夫想了一会儿，假笑道：“我想我会非常乐意的！”一天过去了，他没见到妻子……两天过去了，他还是没见到……三天过去了，开始消肿了，他终于可以透过左眼的眼角看到他的爱妻了。
