中国经济今年预计增长8%

The International Monetary Fund on Tuesday revised down its 2021 economic growth forecast for Asia to 6.5%, down by 1.1 percentage points from its April projection, according to a newly released regional economic outlook.

10月19日，国际货币基金组织发布最新的地区经济展望，将亚洲2021年经济增长预期下调至6.5%，较4月份的预测下调了1.1个百分点。

"The resurgence of the pandemic slowed the recovery in the Asia-Pacific region, especially in emerging market and developing economies," Changyong Rhee, director of the IMF's Asia and Pacific Department, said at a virtual press conference.

国际货币基金组织亚太部主任李昌镛在视频发布会上说："疫情的再度暴发减缓了亚太区域，特别是新兴市场和发展中经济体的复苏进程。"

Noting the Asia-Pacific remains the fastest-growing region in the world, Rhee said as vaccination rates accelerate, the region is expected to grow by 4.9% in 2022, 0.4 percentage points faster than projected in April.

他指出，亚太地区仍是全球经济增长最快的地区，随着疫苗接种率的加快，预计亚太地区经济在2022年将增长4.9%，比4月份的预测上调0.4个百分点。

China is projected to grow by 8.0% in 2021, according to the report.

根据报告，中国经济今年预计增长8%。
