After nearly all Americans went under orders to stay at home due to the coronavirus pandemic, some cities are asking people to wear face coverings if they need to go out.

New York Mayor Bill de Blasio issued the new guidance Thursday, urging people to cover themselves to reduce the risk of transmission.
