A fishing boat with more than 30 people on board was in distress on its way home near Nansha Islands, off south China's Hainan Province on Thursday, according to local emergency management office.

据当地应急管理办公室称，周四(7/11)，一艘载有30多人的渔船，在中国南部海南省南沙群岛附近的返航途中遇险。

Initial reports said several sailors fell into the water.

Different emergency forces have been dispatched to the site for rescue missions.
