Theresa May has announced her resignation, after her party decided she should not be left in charge of Brexit.

特蕾莎·梅已经宣布辞职，此前她所在的政党决定不让她负责脱欧。

Her resignation will take effect from 7 June, and she will serve as Prime Minister until her successor is chosen.

她的辞职将于6月7日起生效，届时她将担任总理职位，直到选出继任者。

May had been trying to hang on to give her Brexit plan one more vote in the House of Commons, where it has been defeated three times already, in early June.
