习大大在新年聚会上呼吁2019年取得更大进展

President Xi, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission (CMC), made the remarks on Saturday at the New Year gathering held in Beijing by the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC).

As the first year of implementing the guideline principles delivered at the 19th CPC National Congress, 2018 represents a remarkable year for both the Party and the nation, Xi emphasized.

习近平强调，2018年是贯彻党的十九大指导方针的第一年，对党和国家来说都是举世瞩目的一年。

He said significant progress has been made in the fields including economy, politics, culture, society, ecology, national defense and military building.

他说:“我国在经济、政治、文化、社会、生态、国防、军事建设等领域都取得了重大进展。”

He also pointed out that a predominant victory has been achieved in the anti-corruption campaign, further cleansing the inter-Party political environment.

他还指出，我们在反腐倡廉斗争中取得了重大胜利，进一步净化了党际政治环境。

Looking into the new year, President Xi outlined the priority of pushing forward the supply-side structural reform and the three critical battles against potential risk, poverty, and pollution.

展望新的一年，习主席明确提出推进供给侧结构性改革，以及应对潜在风险、贫困和污染的三场关键战役。

Xi also emphasized the need to coordinate all work to maintain stable growth, promote reform, make structural adjustments, improve living standards, and guard against risk.

习主席还强调，要统筹做好稳增长、促改革、调结构、惠民生、防风险各项工作。
