马来西亚：金正男案2女嫌犯面对谋杀罪名

 Two women detained in connection with the killing of Kim Jong Nam are to be charged with murder, Malaysia said yesterday, as North Korea ramped up the pressure on Kuala Lumpur to return the body of its supreme leader’s brother.

马来西亚昨日表示，因涉嫌杀害金正男(Kim Jong Nam)而被拘留的两名女子将被控谋杀。与此同时，朝鲜对吉隆坡方面加大压力，要求马方交出朝鲜最高领导人的同父异母长兄的尸体。

Mohamed Apandi Ali, Malaysia’s attorney-general, said the Indonesian and Vietnamese nationals would be charged today. Murder carries a mandatory death penalty in Malaysia.

马来西亚总检察长穆罕默德•阿潘迪•阿里(Mohamed Apandi Ali)表示，分别是印尼和越南国民的这两名女子将在今日被起诉。马来西亚对谋杀罪实行强制性死刑。

Malaysian police arrested Doan Thi Huong, who is Vietnamese, and Siti Aishah, an Indonesian national, following an attack at Kuala Lumpur airport two weeks ago in which Kim’s face was smeared with poison.

两周前，金正男在吉隆坡机场遭遇袭击，脸上被人涂抹剧毒液体。案发后，马来西亚警方逮捕了越南籍的段氏香(Doan Thi Huong)和印尼籍的西蒂•艾莎(Siti Aishah)。

Police say the deadly nerve agent VX, a chemical weapon, was found on Kim’s face and eyes. Airport security camera footage showed two women assaulting Kim, with the North Korean later seen seeking help from airport staff.

警方称，在金正男的脸部和眼睛发现了致命的神经毒剂、被列为化学武器的VX。机场安保摄像画面显示，两名女子对金正男发起突然袭击，随后身为朝鲜公民的金正男向机场工作人员求助。

Police and government officials in the women’s home countries say they believed they were taking part in a prank for a reality TV show.

这两名女子自己国家的警察和政府官员均表示，她们以为自己是在参加某个电视真人秀的一场恶作剧。

However, Malaysian police say the women knew the substance was toxic and washed their hands afterwards. The Indonesian woman later fell sick, vomiting repeatedly in custody, police added.

然而，马来西亚警方表示，两名女子知道这种物质有毒，并在作案后洗手。警方补充称，那名印尼籍女子后来身体不适，在羁押期间多次呕吐。

The killing has damaged relations between Malaysia and North Korea, which have previously enjoyed cordial ties including visa-free travel.

这起谋杀案破坏了马来西亚和朝鲜之间的关系，此前两国关系相当友好，彼此提供免签证待遇。

A delegation from North Korea including Ri Tong-il, a former deputy ambassador to the UN, arrived in Kuala Lumpur for talks with officials this week.

朝鲜的一个代表团已经抵达吉隆坡，拟在本周同马来西亚官员商谈，代表团成员包括曾经担任朝鲜常驻联合国副代表的李东日(Ri Tong-il)。

In a statement to media outside the North Korean embassy yesterday, Mr Ri said the delegation would be pressing for the return of Kim’s body and would be seeking the release of a North Korean national detained by Malaysian police.

李东日昨日在吉隆坡朝鲜大使馆门外对媒体发表声明时表示，代表团将强烈要求取回金正男的尸体，并寻求释放被马来西亚警方拘留的一名朝鲜籍男子。

Mr Ri said he was in Malaysia for “the development of friendly relations between the DPRK [North Korea] and the Malaysian government”, according to local media.

据当地媒体报道，李东日声称，他来马来西亚是为了“发展朝鲜同马来西亚政府之间的友好关系”。

As well as a man who has been detained, Malaysian police have identified at least six other North Korean nationals who are wanted in connection with Kim’s death.

除了一名男子被拘留外，马来西亚警方还指认并通缉另外至少六名涉嫌与金正男遇害有关的朝鲜公民。

North Korea has attempted to block the postmortem examination, asked for its officials to be present during the examination, and demanded the release of the body.

朝鲜曾试图阻止尸检，要求让朝鲜官员在场观察尸检过程，以及要求释放尸体。

These actions suggest Pyongyang sought to conceal the use of a chemical weapon, analysts say. The use and possession of chemical weapons is banned under the Chemical Weapons Convention, which North Korea has not signed.

分析人士说，这些行动似乎表明，平壤方面试图隐瞒使用化学武器。《禁止化学武器公约》(CWC)禁止使用和拥有化学武器，朝鲜没有签署这项公约。

Separately, Malaysian authorities confirmed yesterday two North Korea-linked businesses that had been registered in Malaysia were being struck off. One company said its business was multimedia and electronics, while the other was in information technology and telecoms technology products, police say.

另外，马来西亚有关部门昨日确认，在马来西亚注册的两家与朝鲜有关联的企业被吊销资格。警方说，其中一家公司称，其业务是多媒体和电子，而另一家则声称从事信息技术和电信技术产品业务。

Malaysian police chief Khalid Abu Bakar said police were constantly monitoring to protect Malaysia’s national security. “We have also taken all necessary actions to comply with international regulations with regards to related sanctions,” he added.

马来西亚警察总长哈立德•阿布•巴卡尔(Khalid Abu Bakar)表示，警方不断监测以保护马来西亚的国家安全。“我们亦采取一切必要行动，遵守涉及相关制裁的国际规定，”他补充说。
