百度公司2016年第一季度营收暴增31%

Chinese Internet giant Baidu reported a 31.2-percentyear-on-year increase in revenue in the first quarter(Q1) thanks to increased sales from search-engine-based new businesses.

据报道，中国科技巨头百度公司第一季度营收同比去年上涨31.2%，这主要由于搜索引擎拓展的新业务带来的收入增加。

Baidu raked in 15.821 billion yuan (2.45 billionU.S.dollars) in the first three months of 2016, withonline marketing revenue rising 19.3 percent to14.931 billion yuan, according to a financialstatement released on last Friday.

根据百度公司上周五发布的财务报表显示，该公司2016年第一季度总营收为158.21亿元(折合24.5亿美元)，其中来自网络营销的收入同比去年增长19.3%，达到了149.31亿元。

Baidu reported having 663 million monthly active users in March, up 9 percent year on yearwhile its users of online payment and financial services reached 65 million by the end of March,rising 152 percent compared with the same period last year.

根据百度的报告指出，移动搜索月活跃用户数在2016年3月达到了6.63亿，同比去年增长9%。同时，其在线支付和金融业务账户数量达到了6500万，同比去年同一时期增长了152%。

The company accelerated its integration of search engine, group buying and mapping servicesto push location-based e-commerce, in which gross merchandise volume reached 16 billionyuan, up 268 percent year on year.

此外，百度公司加快了搜索引擎、百度糯米和百度地图的产品服务整合，以推动面向本地商户的的电子商务。其电商交易总额达160亿元，同比去年增长268%。

"We got off to a good start this year and have made remarkable strides in our vision toconnect people with information and services to provide an integrated solution to customers,"said Robin Li, Baidu board chairman and CEO.

百度董事长兼CEO李彦宏表示：“2016年，我们迎来了一个理想的开局。在'连接人与信息'到'连接人与服务'的愿景上取得了长足进步，为客户提供了完善的综合解决方案。”

The country's largest search engine has been making forays into new markets such as online-to-offline businesses, video production and R&D on driverless car and other artificialintelligence technology to tap the market potential unleashed by China's economic shift.

这家中国最大的搜索引擎正在进军到包括线上到线下业务、视频制作、无人驾驶汽车研发以及一些其他人工智能科技中去，以挖掘由中国经济转变所释放的市场潜力。

Baidu expects its Q2 revenue to be around 20.11 billion yuan to 20.58 billion yuan, which wouldbe a year-on-year increase of over 28 percent.

百度第二季度的营收目标为201.1亿元至205.8亿元左右，这将比去年同期增长28%。
