马航关闭家属“协助中心”

Almost eight weeks later, Malaysia Airlines (MAS) has said it will close assistance centers it has set up in Beijing and Kuala Lumpur for the families of the 239 passengers and crew on board the Boeing 777-200ER jet.

载有239名乘客及机组成员的波音777客机失联8周之后，马航宣布将关闭在北京和吉隆坡的家属协助中心。

马航MH370航班在3月8日凌晨失联(lost communication)之后，因机上半数以上乘客来自中国，因此马航在北京和吉隆坡分别设立了家属协助中心(assistance/support center)，为家属提供食宿服务，并提供消息通报、答疑等服务。不过，在客机失联8周以后，马航宣布关闭这些协助中心，并让家属们面对现实(face reality)，回家等待消息。马方会对家属通报搜索进展(development of search)，符合条件的家属将得到及时赔偿。

在此之前，马方公布了此次事件的初步调查报告(preliminary report)，详细说明了飞机偏离预订航线后可能采取的飞行路径以及其他问题。
