《圣经》中爱的诠释

爱是恒久忍耐，又有恩慈;

love never is envious nor boils over with jealousy,

爱是不嫉妒，

Love is not display itself haughtily.It is not conceited;it is not rude and does not act unbecomingly.

爱是不自夸，不张狂，不作害羞的事，

Love does not insist on its own rights or its own way, for it is not self-seeking;

不求自己的益处，

it is not touchy or fretful or resentful;

不轻易发怒，

it takes no account of the evil done to it.

不计算人的恶，

It does not rejoice at injustice and unrighteousness,but rejoices when right and truth prevail.

不喜欢不义，只喜欢真理;

Love never fails.

爱是永不止息。
