A: Jerry, this is the third time you've been late this week, you were needed in that meeting today. Fortunately the deal was done, but it almost didn't happen.
A: 杰瑞，这是你本周第三次迟到了，今天的会议需要你参加。幸运的是，这笔交易达成了，但它几乎没有发生。
B: I'm really sorry, but I was stuck in traffic. My car was sitting in the same spot for 30 minutes.
B: 真的很抱歉，我被堵在路上了。我的车在原地停了30分钟。
A: If you're getting stuck in traffic every day, then you should leave the house earlier.
A: 如果你每天都堵在路上，那么你应该早点出门。
B: I know, but that isn't the problem. Today was the first time that I was stuck in traffic, and it wasn't normal rush hour traffic either.

A: What do you mean?

B: Today traffic was stopped by a zebra.

A: You expect me to believe that you were delayed by a zebra?

A: I'm going to have to check out your story, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt for now.
