1　worry 可作名词，也可作动词（及物或不及物），意为“（使）忧虑，（使）着急，（使）烦恼”。

Life is full of worries . 生活中充满着烦恼的事情。

Don't worry ! They are safe there. 别担心！他们在那里是安全的。

Don't worry me with so many questions. 不要用这么多的问题来烦我。

2　worry about 表示“为……担忧，为……感到忧虑”，常用于祈使句；be worried about 表示“为……担心，为……担忧”，常与be, look, feel等连系动词连用，常用于陈述句。

Don't worry about her. She is safe now. 不要为她担心，她现在安全了。

She is worried about your health. 她为你的健康担心。
