Day 109 Some people believe that scientific discoveries have given us a much betterunderstanding of the world around us

Some people believe that scientific discoveries have given us a much better understanding of the world around us. Others believe that science has revealed to us that the world is infinitely more complex than we ever realized.

Write a response in which you discuss which view more closely aligns with your own position and explain your reasoning for the position you take. In developing and supporting your position, you should address both of the views presented.

五问：

（5）我们所了解的世界是稳定不变的吗？如果不是，将会如何影响你对于原命题的判断？

我绝对不反对获取更多的知识。事实上，我试图通过每天读报纸并在必要的时候读书来让自己跟上时代。但是，我知道得越多，就越觉得无知。这个在我年少时曾经看起来如此简单的世界，现在却太过复杂以至于无法完全理解。

I'm definitely not averse to acquiring more knowledge. In fact, I try to keep myself up to date by reading newspaper every day and by reading books when necessary. However, the more I know, the more I feel ignorant. The world, which used to seem so simple when I was young, is now too complicated for me to understand totally.
