1．协商价格时不要一口回绝。若可以给予折扣或减价，可具体根据旅行的人数、年纪或其他情况酌情处理。如：

In view of the situation that all of you are students, our travel agency decides to give you some discounts. 考虑到你们都是学生，我们旅行社可以给你们一些折扣。

For your group is so big, our manager said that we can give you 10% off the price. 由于你们团体人数比较多，我们经理说可以给你们提供10%的折扣。

Our travel agency offers the child a 20% discount. 我们旅行社给予儿童八折的优惠。

若不能提供折扣，应说明具体原因，并怀有诚意地表示道歉。如：

Our charge has been the lowest tour price in the city. So I'm very sorry that we can't lower the price any more. 我们的收费已经是同城最低旅游价格，所以很抱歉我们不能再降价了。

I am afraid it's a busy season. 恐怕不能，因为现在是旅游旺季。

2．接待人员要提前对各个线路有所了解，以便在顾客对旅行线路或旅行地表示不满时，可及时提供其他建议。如：

Are there any other interesting places? 还有其他好玩的地方吗？

Do you have any other traveling lines? 你们还有其他旅游线路吗？

I have been to the Statue of Liberty on my last visit there. Can you recommend somewhere else? 我上次去那儿的时候已经参观过自由女神像了。你能推荐一些其他地方吗？
