上文的例子中last word 是一个固定词组，意为：最后一句话，决定性的话，最终决定。例如：
His wife always gets in the last word on everything. 凡事最后的决定权总是操在他太太手上。
但是大家在用这个短语时一定要仔细，千万不能错用成“last words(临终遗言，遗书)”。否则当你说“I'll give you 100 Yuan and this is my last words.”就成了“我只出100块。这是我的遗言。”
