When we two parted

你我离别的时刻

In silence and tears

沉默与泪水肆虐

Half broken-hearted

心近乎绝望的碎裂

To sever for years

预感到多年的隔离

Pale grew they cheek and colds

你的脸颊白如纸冷若冰

Colder they kiss

给我的寒洌之吻

Truly that hour foretold

此时此刻已经写下

Sorrow to this

如今伤痛的预言

The dew of the morning

早晨的寒露

Sunk chill on my brow

为眉弯添上透骨的寒凉

It felt like the warning

想来是个先兆

Of what I feel now

预告我现今的心境

 

 

 

They vows are all broken

誓言不复存在

And light is they fame

你因冶荡艳名远播

I hear thy name spoken

惊闻你艳名狼藉

And share in its shame

我的心因羞愧而流血

They name thee before me

人们纷纷议论着你的浪荡

A knell to mine ear

恶意的评语几乎刺穿双耳

A shudder comes over me

我颤抖了

Why wert thou so dear

你我曾是那么的亲密

They know not I knew thee

没人知道你和我相识

Who knew thee too well

而我曾是那么的了解你

Long, long shall I rue thee

现在心痛追悔是否太迟

Too deeply to tell

又有谁说得清呢

In secret we met

终于你我私下再度重逢

In silence I grieve

我卸不去悲戚的秘密桎梏

That the heart could forget

你的心抛弃了旧情

Thy spirit deceive

你的灵魂选择了欺谩

If I should meet thee after long years

时隔经年若我会见到你

How should I greet thee

我如何向你招呼

With silence and tears
