Sometimes people just say foil instead of aluminum foil; they mean the same thing. 有时人们只说箔纸，不说铝箔纸;它们的意思是一样的。

It's like a sheet of paper but it is made of metal, and you can use it to wrap things in - to put things in. 就像是一张纸，但它是由金属制成的。你可以用它包东西——即把东西放进去。

Here, Lucy is using it to keep the cookie sheet clean -to protect the cookie sheet. 这里，露西用它保持烤盘干净——目的是保护烤盘。
