　　call off 取消，停止

　　我们比较熟悉的短语，其含义也比较简单。某计划需要终止或取消时可以使用，理解成 call off= cancel 就可以了。

　　例句：

　　I want you to end it. I want you to call off the wedding.

　　我希望你能做到取消婚礼。

　　You can call off the roommate search!

　　别找室友了。

　　He told me that Leo called off his engagement with Jane.
