　　make out 理解，假装，亲热

　　make out 具有很多含义，如“看懂，听懂”（see, hear, or understand with difficulty），“成功”，“假装是……”等。另外，还能表达“亲热”。

　　例句：

　　We can barely make out what they're saying.
