① be liable to+名词常患……的。

She is liable to bad colds. 她常患重感冒。

② be liable for （尤其在法律上）有偿付责任的。

She was not liable for her son's debts. 她对儿子的债务不负有责任。

③ be liable to do倾向……的，易于……的，习惯于……的。

He is liable to fly into fits of temper. 他易发脾气。
