① imagine是及物动词，意为“想象，设想，料想”，结构为：

imagine（sb.）doing sth.

imagine sb./oneself+补足语（名词，分词，不定式）

We can hardly imagine life without electricity. 我们很难想象没有电生活会怎么样。
