China has conducted a nationwide campaign to crack down on refined oil smuggling.中国在全国范围内开展了打击“成品油走私”的专项行动。

“成品油走私”英文表达可以用refined oil smuggling;refined oil是成品油，与之相对的是原油(crude oil);smuggling即走私，如军火走私(arms smuggling)、毒品走私(drug smuggling)等。

石油走私(oil smuggling)影响了我国的经济秩序，导致了不公平的市场竞争，此外，走私相伴的还有逃税(tax evasion)。走私的油含有大量杂质(contains large amounts of impurities)、低于质量标准(fall beneath quality standards)，对公共安全造成潜在威胁。

截止4月18日，2000余名海警(marine police)、缉私警察(anti-smuggling police)、武警(armed policemen)共同抓获了犯罪嫌疑人250余名。
